The GP series by Ifor Williams is celebrated as one of the industry’s most durable plant trailers. These trailers feature a robust open rectangular steel framework, fully integrated with the chassis, offering exceptional stability and strength. With a maximum gross weight capacity of 3500kg, the GP series can handle heavy-duty tasks across a range of applications.
The GP series spans from the compact GP106 to the spacious GP146, catering to a variety of load requirements. Larger models come with tri-axle configurations for enhanced stability, and there are three tyre options available, allowing customization based on usage and terrain.
All GP models are equipped with a resin-coated plywood platform, engineered for durability and ease of maintenance. Optional upgrades include an aluminium treadplate floor for added protection, bolt-on ramp knife edges, and 1.8m (6’) skids or ramps as alternatives to the standard 1.2m (4’) size. These options enhance loading efficiency and make the trailers adaptable to different equipment types.
A key feature of the GP series is the integrated ramp and skid supports, ensuring that the trailer remains stable while loading without needing additional prop stands, adding convenience and safety during use.

GP Plant Trailers are fitted with either a full width ramp or hinged skids as standard.
As well as 155/70R12C tyres as specified in the table below, GP models are available on the following tyre options: 195/60R12C, 175/75R16C and 6.50R16C (twin axle models only). Unladen weights for different tyre options may vary. Please check the Commercial brochure for further details.
GP trailers are also available as a high sided option which adds an additional 80kg to the unladen weight.
Low sided models are offered with either open or closed sides and have a bucket rest fitted as standard. High sided models come with filled in sides and an optional bucket rest. This option is ideally suited to users who require flexible usage from their trailer; a reliable plant trailer providing additional depth for use as a general duty trailer.
