Here at Morris & Bufton, we offer both wired installation and wire-free satellite installation depending on the specification of the robot lawn mower you have chosen.
Wired installations involve manually laying a boundary wire which can be very time consuming. We offer a professional and comprehensive installation service to take this hassle away from you. We use a specialist cable laying machine which buries the cable under the ground offering a better finish but more importantly this stops the cable from getting damaged by wildlife and other gardening tasks you may carry out.
Wire-free installations eliminate the use of a boundary wire but requires knowledge and experience of RTK-satellites and using a reference station to ensure the robot lawn mower can receive signal while cutting your lawn. This initial set-up, programming and positioning of the charging station and reference station is crucial.
Our installs are done on a quote basis, as every lawn and application can be different. This provides a better result for your lawn and the maximises your investment. Through this quote we are able to offer advice on the selection of machine, type of wire and placement of the install to help meet your requirements and expectations.
